How it works
- Add your place and tenants. Your details, the property and each tenant's unit, rent and due day. They fill every document for you.
- Make the document. A rent receipt when rent comes in, a ledger entry, a polite reminder when it is late, or a room-by-room checklist with photos at move-in and move-out.
- Download the PDF. Email it, print it or keep it. At move-out, Pro compares both checklists and lists what changed, photos side by side.

Rival prices checked 2 Oct 2026 from the linked pages (RentRedi from a search summary of its Capterra page). Prices can change; check their sites. They collect rent and screen tenants; Rentsprig makes the paperwork, privately, for much less.

Is Rentsprig free?
Yes. Rent receipts and the late-rent reminder letter are free and unlimited, with a small “Made with Rentsprig by CyberMax” line at the bottom. The free plan holds 1 property with up to 2 tenants and 1 move-in checklist without photos. No account is needed.
Why not TurboTenant?
TurboTenant is a full rental platform with a free plan, and Essentials at $149 a year or Pro at $199 a year for 1 to 10 units (checked 2 Oct 2026). It collects rent online and screens tenants, which Rentsprig does not. If you only need the paperwork, Rentsprig Pro is $29 a year or $39 once and keeps everything on your own device.
Why not RentRedi or an inspection app like zInspector?
RentRedi Standard is $12 a month billed annually ($29.95 month to month) and zInspector starts at $22 per user per month (checked 2 Oct 2026). Both do more, such as rent collection or team inspections. Rentsprig covers the documents a small landlord needs, including a photo checklist and a move-out comparison, for $29 a year or $39 once.
Is my data private?
Yes. Rentsprig runs in your browser. Tenants, ledgers, letters, checklists and photos are saved only on this device, and the PDFs are made on this device. Nothing is uploaded. Pro can download a backup file to move your data to another device.
What does Pro add?
Unlimited properties and tenants, no footer line, photos in checklists, the move-out comparison report, a rent ledger per tenant with CSV export, automatic receipt numbering (R-0001, R-0002…) with a receipt history, your logo on every document and a JSON backup of all your data.
Can I cancel?
Yes. The $29 yearly plan cancels any time from the link in your Stripe receipt email, and Pro then switches off at the end of the year you paid for. The $39 Lifetime plan is one payment with nothing to cancel.
Is the reminder letter a legal notice?
No. It is a polite reminder letter template that you edit. It is not a notice to pay or quit, a pay-or-quit notice or any other formal notice. Notice and deposit rules differ by state and country; check your local law before taking formal steps.
What goes on a rent receipt?
Rentsprig includes the receipt number, the date, who paid, the property address, the rent period covered, the amount, how it was paid (cash, cheque, bank transfer, card or other), who received it, any balance still due and an optional typed signature. Some places require specific details, so check your local rules.
How do photos work in the checklist?
With Pro, add photos to any item from your phone camera or your files. Rentsprig shrinks them on your device, keeps them in this browser and embeds them in the PDF. The move-out comparison puts the move-in and move-out photos of each changed item side by side.
Does it work on my phone and offline?
Yes. Rentsprig is built for phones too, so you can walk the unit and fill in the checklist room by room. Once it has loaded you can install it and use it with no connection.
