Price tag maker: barcode labels from any CSV

For shops on Shopify, Square or any till system: import your product list, pick a label sheet and print price tags with scannable barcodes. Free, no sign-up, nothing uploaded.

1 Products

Paste CSV or spreadsheet rows

No products yet. Load the example or import a CSV.

Column mapping

Tagwren guessed which column is which. Change any of them; the product list updates.

How many labels per product?

2 Label

Show on the label

3 Print

Partly used sheet? Set the first free label, or click it on the preview. Labels a little off? Print one page on plain paper with outlines, hold it over a label sheet and nudge.

For exact alignment, print at 100% / Actual size (not "Fit to page").

Backup

Products, settings and saved setups live only in this browser. Export a backup file to move them.

How it works

  1. Bring your products. Export a CSV from Shopify, Square or any spreadsheet and import or paste it. Tagwren maps the name, price, SKU and barcode columns for you.
  2. Pick a label. Choose a 5160, 5163 or other sheet size or a thermal roll, the barcode type and what shows on each tag. The preview updates as you go.
  3. Print or save a PDF. Print at actual size or download a vector PDF. On a partly used sheet, start at the first free label.

Shopify or Square export in a minute

Shopify

  1. In Shopify admin open Products and click Export.
  2. Choose the products and CSV for Excel, Numbers, or other spreadsheet programs.
  3. Import the file here. Title, Option1 Value, Variant Price, Variant Compare At Price, Variant SKU and Variant Barcode are mapped automatically; variant rows keep their product title and image-only rows are skipped.

Square or anything else

  1. Export your item library or price list as CSV (Square, Lightspeed, Clover, WooCommerce, a spreadsheet).
  2. Import or paste it. Columns such as Item Name, Variation Name, Price, SKU and GTIN are recognised; anything else you map in two clicks.
  3. Barcodes saved by Excel as 4.00638E+12 are flagged so you can re-export that column as text.

FAQ

Which label sheets does Tagwren print on?

Letter sheets the size of Avery 5160 (30 per sheet, 1 × 2⅝ in), 5163 (10, 2 × 4 in), 5167 (80, ½ × 1¾ in) and 22806 (12 square, 2 × 2 in); A4 sheets the size of Avery L7160 (21) and L7651 (65); and thermal rolls of 2¼ × 1¼ in and 1½ × 1 in, one label per page. Pro also takes any custom size. The free plan includes 5160, 5163 and the 2¼ × 1¼ roll.

Will scanners read the barcodes?

Yes. Tagwren draws Code 128, EAN-13, UPC-A and QR codes as exact vector shapes, with the quiet zones scanners need. EAN-13 and UPC-A check digits are checked, and added if your number is one digit short. Print at 100% and test-scan one label before a big run.

Does it work with Dymo or Zebra label printers?

Pick a roll size (2¼ × 1¼ in or 1½ × 1 in): each label becomes its own page, so any printer whose driver shows up in your print dialog can print it. Set the same label size in the printer settings.

Why not Yanet or Retail Barcode Labels?

They are Shopify apps: you install them in your store and they work with Shopify products only. Retail Barcode Labels is free but rated 2.3 from 478 reviews; Yanet's paid plans start at $7.99 a month. Tagwren takes a CSV from any shop system, needs no store access, and Pro is $5 a month or $39 once.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your CSV is read in your browser and never uploaded. Products and settings are saved only on this device (export a backup to move them). Nothing is tracked.

What does Pro add?

Unlimited labels and pages per print, every sheet size plus custom sizes, sale tags with the old price struck through, label quantities from your inventory column, saved setups and column mappings, a CSV of each printed batch, and no "Tagwren by CyberMax" mark in the sheet margin.

Can I cancel?

Yes. The monthly plan cancels any time from the link in your Stripe receipt email. Lifetime is one payment, with nothing to cancel.

My labels print slightly off. How do I fix it?

First make sure the print dialog says 100% or Actual size. Then print one page with outlines on plain paper, hold it over a label sheet against the light and nudge right or down in millimetres. The nudge is saved for next time.
