Template

Each template comes with real starter copy, pricing lines and a timeline for that kind of work. Your details and your client are kept when you switch.

Saved details fill every new proposal.

Sections

Reorder with ↑ ↓. Formatting: **bold**, *italic*, ## heading, - list, 1. list, or use the toolbar. Words in {client} become the client's company. Replace anything in [brackets] with your own words.

Pricing

Tick “Optional” for extras the client can choose; untick “Included” to show them without adding them to the total.

Timeline

Acceptance record

When your client accepts (by email or in the HTML version), record it here and it prints in the acceptance block. This is a record of acceptance, not an electronic signature.

Backup

Everything lives in this browser only. Nothing is uploaded. A backup file moves your proposals, clients and library to another device.

How it works

  1. Pick a template. Web design, marketing retainer, branding, consulting, photo and video, or software. Each comes with starter copy, pricing lines and a timeline you edit.
  2. Make it yours. Add, reorder or remove sections. Price with quantities, one-time and monthly lines, optional extras, discount and tax, or three packages.
  3. Send it. Download a multi-page PDF with a cover and page numbers, print it, copy a covering email, or (Pro) send a one-file HTML proposal your client can accept by email.

Questions

Is Pitchsprig really free?

Yes. You get 3 PDF downloads every calendar month, the web design and marketing retainer templates, the full section editor, pricing table, timeline and acceptance block, unlimited printing and email text, with no account. Free PDFs and prints carry a small “Proposal made with Pitchsprig by CyberMax” line.

Why not Proposify?

Proposify is a full proposal platform with e-signatures, open tracking and team features, priced per user: Basic $19, Team $41 and Business $65 per user per month, billed annually (Capterra, checked 2 Oct 2026, where it has 4.4 stars from 299 reviews). If you need those features it is a good choice. If you need a polished proposal PDF, Pitchsprig is free for 3 a month, or $79 once for unlimited with no per-user fees.

Why not Better Proposals or Bonsai?

Better Proposals Starter is $13 per user per month billed annually or $19 monthly; Bonsai Essentials is $25 per user per month (checked 2 Oct 2026). Both add e-signatures, tracking and payments, which Pitchsprig does not. Pitchsprig wins on price, privacy (nothing leaves your browser) and having no per-user fees.

Is my data private?

Yes. Pitchsprig runs entirely in your browser. Your proposals, prices and clients are saved only on this device, and the PDF is made on your device. Nothing is uploaded.

What does Pro add?

Unlimited PDFs with no footer line, all 6 templates (adds branding, consulting, photo and video, software development), your logo and brand colour, a good / better / best packages layout, a send-ready HTML proposal your client can accept by email, a content library for your about us, terms and case studies, saved proposals and clients, one-click duplicate and JSON backup.

Can I cancel?

Yes. The $9 monthly plan cancels any time from the link in your Stripe receipt email, and Pro then switches off by itself. The $79 Lifetime plan is one payment with nothing to cancel.

Can my client sign the proposal?

Your client can type their name and date in the acceptance block, or accept from the HTML version, which opens an email to you with their acceptance. That is a record of acceptance, not an electronic signature. If you need a legally binding e-signature with an audit trail, use a dedicated e-signature service alongside Pitchsprig.

What goes into a good business proposal?

A short introduction in the client's words, the problem and goals, a clear scope (what is and is not included), deliverables, a timeline, pricing with options, terms and a simple way to say yes. Every Pitchsprig template follows that order, and the checks above the Download button flag anything still in [brackets].

Does it work on my phone and offline?

Yes. Pitchsprig works on phones too, and once it has loaded you can install it and use it with no connection.

What happens after the client accepts?

Record the acceptance, then turn the agreed price into an invoice with Billsprig, our free invoice generator.

Pitchsprig templates are starting points, not legal advice; have important contract terms reviewed.
