FAQ
What is a LUT?
A LUT (look-up table) maps every input colour to an output colour. A 3D LUT in .cube format stores that mapping on a 33×33×33 grid, and your software blends between the points. One small file recreates a whole grade.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The previewer runs entirely in your browser; photos and .cube files you open never leave your device.
Which footage do the looks expect?
Normal display-referred colour (Rec.709 / sRGB), after your basic correction or your engine's tonemapping. For log footage, convert to Rec.709 first, then add a Tonebox look. Most looks work well at 50–80% intensity.
Can I use them commercially?
Yes: unlimited personal and client projects, and games may ship the engine strips inside the build. You can't resell or share the LUT files themselves.
