FAQ
Can I use the sounds in a commercial game?
Yes. Unlimited personal and commercial games, apps, videos and streams, for yourself or clients, with no attribution needed. Ship them inside your game build however your engine stores audio. You can't resell or share the files themselves as a sound pack, or register them with Content ID.
Where do the sounds come from?
Our own synthesis code: square, triangle, saw, sine, FM and noise oscillators with pitch sweeps, arpeggios, envelopes, filters, bit-crushing and echo. No samples, recordings or third-party sound libraries, so there is no hidden licence chain to worry about.
Why not use a free pack?
There are good free packs, and the 12 free Blipwren sounds are yours too. The full pack is for when you want one consistent set that covers a whole game, from menu clicks to the victory jingle: every sound levelled to the same peak, trimmed to start instantly, faded so nothing clicks, named so you can find it, and playable by name in one line of Godot or Unity code.
Why not a pack with 1,000+ sounds?
Big packs are great for browsing. Blipwren is curated: 15 distinct sounds per category, each one checked for level, clicks and near-duplicates, so you pick in seconds. You can hear all 120 above before paying.
What formats, and which engines?
WAV (44.1 kHz, 16-bit, mono) and Ogg Vorbis. Godot 4 and Unity get ready folders and helper scripts; the files also work in Unreal, GameMaker, Defold, Construct, Phaser, Love2D, Bevy, MonoGame, RPG Maker (OGG) and any video editor.
How do I get the files after buying?
Polar emails a receipt with the download link straight away, and the zip is also in your Polar customer portal. It's a one-time purchase with no subscription.
