About the data
Contracts ending: USAspending.gov prime award summaries for definitive contracts, purchase orders, delivery and BPA call orders (award types A–D) with any action since the start of the previous fiscal year and at least $1M obligated, whose current period-of-performance end date falls in the next 12 months. "Options" means the award's potential end date is later than its current end date, so the agency may extend it by exercising options instead of re-competing.
Open bids: the public SAM.gov Contract Opportunities extract: active notices (solicitations, presolicitations, sources sought, special notices) with a response deadline today or later. Contracting officers' names, emails and phone numbers are left out here; they are on each SAM.gov notice.
Limits: an end date is not a promise of a new solicitation. USAspending lags contract actions (DoD reports with a 90-day delay). Always confirm on SAM.gov and USAspending.gov. Bidscope is an independent tool by CyberMax, not a government site, and gives no legal or bidding advice.
